In order to guide and standardize the cash dividends of listed companies and strengthen the concept of return to shareholders, China Association of listed companies, together with Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, released a cash dividend list of A-share listed companies on September 18, 2020, including 100 companies of “Rich Returns List of Listed Companies” and “List of Sincere Returns of Listed Companies”. Huitian New Material Co., Ltd was ranked 59th in the List of Sincere Returns of Listed Companies.
Based on the total cash dividends in the past one year and three years as the main index, the top 100 companies in the “Rich Returns List of Listed Companies” were selected. And the top 100 companies in the “List of Sincere Returns of Listed Companies” were selected with the dividend payment rate in recent one year and three years as the main index. The selection of the list adheres to the basic principles of representativeness and sustainability. It not only selects representative listed companies to encourage long-term sustainable and stable dividends, but also takes into account the characteristics of Companies in different sectors, fully reflecting the positive willingness of companies to pay dividends. In addition to the objective quantitative indicators such as the total amount of dividends, dividend payment rate and other objective quantitative indicators, judging panel sets up the front indicators of integrity and compliance, financial and other aspects of the securities market, and adopts the negative list of “one vote veto”.
According to the list, there are 37 main board Companies in Shanghai Stock Exchange, 12 main board Companies in Shenzhen stock market, 33 small and medium-sized board companies and 17 GEM companies in the List of Sincere Returns of Listed Companies. The selected companies are totally distributed in 30 jurisdictions. 84% of the companies listed in the sincere return list have been paying dividends every year since listing, and 30 companies have been paying dividends continuously in the past 10 years. Huitian New Material Co., Ltd is one of the 17 GEM listed companies in the “sincere return list”, and one of the 100 A-share listed companies with continuous dividends in recent 10 years.
Besides reflecting the operating performance and standard running level of listed companies, the cash dividends also relates to the formation of a good ecological environment in the capital market. The list aims to guide listed companies to managing in good faith according to law, to be responsible, accountable and respectable enterprises, to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, and to cultivate a good market ecology. Huitian New material will continue to focus on its main business and enhance its comprehensive competitiveness. At the same time, we will actively repay shareholders in combination with the company’s actual situation, so that the majority of small and medium-sized investors can share the benefits and returns brought by the company’s growth.
